Gyoza Micchan House, a takeout dumpling shop in Takasaki, Japan which closed in 2019, recently reopened in the form of a dumpling factory and a pair of vending machines, according to a report in The Mainichi.

Takemasa Suzuki, a friend of shop owner Michiko Sekine, transformed the shop into a handmade dumpling factory and installed a frozen vending machine last month outside the shop.

The machine sold out all of its 400 packages (12,000 dumplings) in about two hours.

The frozen dumplings come 30 to a package for 1,000 yen (about $9).

A second machine is located in a nearby parking lot.
